About Us


Lea and James met in 2012 at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. 

James is a teacher at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA where he teaches Biology and Environmental Science.  He has a strong passion for hiking, photography, traveling, and all things nature.  James takes his life experiences and shares them with his students through engaging anecdotal stories or through hands-on activities.  

Lea is the program coordinator at PEEC where she is responsible for organizing community outreach programming and ensuring accordance with grants is in order.  Lea enjoys crafting, cooking, traveling, hiking, and posing for pictures. She loves to make memories in amazing places and is always looking for the next bridge to cross or waterfall to enjoy.
